Adab In our Life
Adab refers to prescribed Islamic etiquette: "refinement, good manners, morals, decorum, decency, humaneness.
Difference between Adab and Akhlaq
Akhlaq is about morals (which are not physical) and the abilities of soul. Akhlaq is morals that one has used to have and has became the structure of his personality and usually are hard to change.But Adab is about the body and how to use the body regarding others. For example, greed or pride is included in Akhlaq and how to sit or talk to your mother is included in Adab.
Adab toward parents: Help them and speak softly to them
Adab toward society: Help our society and greet each other outside of the event. Besides, appreciate them by saying thank you if they help us.
Adab as a student: Punctual in every class and respect your lecturer by not talking to friends in class. Other than that, settle the assignment before the due date and not copy-paste other works.
Adab in general: Respect others (younger, adult & elders), use appropriate words and speak softly to them, and be kind to others.
